Jack Phan
Jack Phan is a seasoned entrepreneur, technologist, and startup executive with over 25 years of experience leading and scaling high-growth companies. As a multi-exit founder, Jack has held C-level roles across product, marketing, technology, and operations—including CEO of AirDeck AI and co-founder/CTO of ReliableRemodeler.com, which was acquired for nearly $30M. He has raised venture capital, built product-led growth strategies, and driven go-to-market success in SaaS, AI, media, and home services. Passionate about innovation and mentorship, Jack now advises emerging founders on building scalable, mission-driven startups that make a meaningful impact.

Nicholas May-Varas
Nicholas May-Varas is currently a Systems Engineer at AquaHarmonics, which is a wave energy startup. Prior to joining AquaHarmonics, he interned at multiple renewable energy startups and was a Fellow at Prime Movers Lab (a venture capital firm). He earned an Honors Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Kaye O'Kearny
Kaye O’Kearny holds 20+ years of experience in the high-tech industry with multiple leadership positions and consistently designed business and people solutions that enabled organizations to accomplish mission-critical goals. She scaled and led organizations in Human Resources, Corporate Higher Education, the Intel Foundation, Product Architecture and User Experience. She also worked with multiple C-Suite executives to rapidly scale organizations, from zero to 500 as well as from 19K to 35K across 60+ global sites.
Kaye’s broad professional and academic experiences have all centered around how to align people and complex systems rapidly and successfully to drive change and growth. She holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, as well as multiple coaching and consulting certificates. -
Angie Parker
Angie is a former Air Force aviator, founder, and Chief of Staff, bringing over a decade of experience in startup operations and management. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Alliance of Angels (AoA), where she actively fosters entrepreneurship in the Pacific Northwest. In her role at the AoA, Angie identifies, interviews, and coaches founders, preparing them for pitches to nearly 200 angel investor members. The AoA evaluates over 40 applications each month and selects three to advance to the monthly pitch meeting. Additionally, Angie teaches a class on idea validation at Venture Mechanics, serves as a prolific guest lecturer for entrepreneurship courses at the University of Washington, actively mentors transitioning veterans, and volunteers with Culture in Sports—an organization dedicated to identifying and addressing toxic cultures within sports organizations.

Lee Tapper
Lee works with new and emerging businesses with a focus on strategy, business development, and strategic partnerships appropriate to the market and team. He helps identify and define target markets, align product definitions with market needs, develop partnerships to augment in-house expertise, and facilitate product development processes.
Until 2016 he was a Principal Technology Strategist with Intel, working on initiatives to develop new technologies in robotics, wireless communications, and embedded sensing. He led collaborations with Nokia, British TeleCom, the Singapore Government, and numerous national and international universities. Post-Intel consulting work has included a fellowship with Portland State’s Research and Collaboration department and market and strategy development for a sensor startup. -
Bill Stevens
Bill’s experience includes teaching, angel investing, venture capital investing and high technology marketing. He would like to use that experience to help you land your first round of funding. Most recently he has taught Entrepreneurial Finance and Corporate Finance to undergraduate and graduate business students at several Portland area colleges and universities, while also being an angel investor and LLC Manager for several yeas of Angel Oregon. Prior to that he made strategic investments on behalf of the venture capital arm of a major semiconductor, PC and systems company. Bill earned Master’s Degrees in Business and Electrical Engineering.
